What do I need for a money transfer to Cuba?
To initiate a money transfer to Cuba, you will need the following:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Reside in the EU, UK, Chile, or Mexico. We also allow transfers from the USA, as long as you either reside in Florida or indicate that you are currently in Florida.
- The recipient's data in Cuba.
- An ID for verification purposes.
- That the beneficiary is not a member of the Communist Party of Cuba.
- That the beneficiary is not Restricted (Military) Official of the Government of Cuba.
- That the transfer of money is not related to the migration of the beneficiary or sent for migration purposes.

Cuban bank accounts have a transfer limit of 10,000 MLC every 30 days. This means that your Cuban recipient cannot receive more than 10,000 MLC from you within a 30-day period.
